I've put a bit of thought into my character's back story & have decided to go with the idea of a Mafia themed villain. He's neither living nor dead & is possessed by an unworldly energy which is fuelled by his lust for revenge. The character is an embodiment of the Mafia's sin, driven insane by a guilty conscience, he no longer feels remorse for any lives he takes, only glee. He will finally be able to rest, at peace only in death, once he hunts down this one character; (or a few more)
Because that character/s was:
- A descendant of those responsible for the Mafia's downfall.
- A bad egg (big time criminal/ leader of the Mafia).
- One of those who wronged him earlier in his life.
- His killer, or one of.
- Something like that.
