Animatic

Rather than editing my storyboard to incorporate the feedback, I've created a rough animatic instead. This should give a decent idea of what the timing of the scene will be, although it is far from accurate.

I was going to add the camera movements to represent the character walking but I don't think it's necessary. I might add this at a later date.

Made a YouTube channel to upload this since Blogger's video player is awful.

Final Storyboard

Feedback:
Consider removing a few frames of him turning to make the animation quicker, have a noise in the distance that causes him to turn around the first time. Have him continue walking/backwards while he checks on the figure.

Story Board

I'm currently unsure how long each frame will last, but I'd like the introduction to be drawn out to allow the suspense to build. However I also need to consider the size of the workload for this because at the end of the day quality>quantity.

I do know for certain that frames 6-10 will be 6 seconds & the last 2 frames (11 & 12) will be roughly 2 seconds each, since I need the character to fall backwards and allow the scene to fade out.

Storyboard Rough

Rough draft of storyboard (No hate pls):

First Storyboard; Will make another one detailing the last 3 frames.

Feedback:

Rhys: To create a jump scare moment have him so he doesn't disappear, because people would be expecting him to reappear if he vanishes, since this is overdone in horrors.

Keat: Start to think about time & duration, make a decision as to which way the character will be turning/ the path will be.

Ongoing Research

Bong Cheon Dong Ghost
Possible reference for character appearing/jump scare.
