I received some feedback from my tutor on my work so far, his main points were:
It doesn't have a clear direction, ask yourself what is the character's motivation?
What is he doing in the scene?
Choose a specific era/ location and base the weapons clothing off of that.
After this feedback I'm thinking of basing my character on an Italian mafia style or something similar to hit man where my masked figure will be tracking someone down for either revenge or money.
